Be prepared for seasonal flu

Think the seasonal flu is no big deal? Think again, says Ecolab which will present a free webinar on the topic on Tuesday, 8 November, 14:00 GMT.

Seasonal flu/human influenza is a contagious respiratory infection, generally transmitted through human to human contact, accompanied by fever and often with respiratory complications. Each year approximately between 10 to 30 per cent of Europe’s population get the flu, resulting in time off work, losses to production as well as pressure and costs on the health and social care services.

Ecolab's webinar entitled 'Public Health Matters: Seasonal Flu. Be Prepared.' will be presented by John H. Hanlin, Ph.D. VP, Global Public Health, Ecolab; John Barcay, PHD, Senior Scientist, Pest Elimination, Ecolab and Ian Lamb BSc (Hons), CChem, MRSC Regional Technical Manager, Ecolab.

Lasting for one hour including a Q&A, this webinar will help you prepare for the coming flu season.
