Be prepared for seasonal flu
26 October 2016
Think the seasonal flu is no big deal? Think again, says Ecolab which will present a free webinar on the topic on Tuesday, 8 November, 14:00 GMT.

Seasonal flu/human influenza is a contagious respiratory infection, generally transmitted through human to human contact, accompanied by fever and often with respiratory complications. Each year approximately between 10 to 30 per cent of Europe’s population get the flu, resulting in time off work, losses to production as well as pressure and costs on the health and social care services.
Ecolab's webinar entitled 'Public Health Matters: Seasonal Flu. Be Prepared.' will be presented by John H. Hanlin, Ph.D. VP, Global Public Health, Ecolab; John Barcay, PHD, Senior Scientist, Pest Elimination, Ecolab and Ian Lamb BSc (Hons), CChem, MRSC Regional Technical Manager, Ecolab.
Lasting for one hour including a Q&A, this webinar will help you prepare for the coming flu season. It will provide proactive measures you can take to help reduce risk and protect employees and guests. Other topics of the webinar will include “influenza 101”; predicting the scope of the coming flu season; and tips to help you improve hand hygiene and disinfecting procedures in your facility.
Space is limited, so please click here to register. Even if you cannot attend the live event, by registering you will automatically receive a copy of the recorded webinar after the event.
