The company has donated Tristel Fuse for Surfaces, a cleaning and high-level sporicidal disinfectant solution, formulated for easy preparation and treatment of large surface areas.
Tristel Fuse uses Tristel’s patented Chlorine dioxide chemistry and includes a powerful surfactant to ensure thorough cleaning as well as highly effective disinfection. Unlike chlorine-based solutions, Chlorine dioxide has no associated health and safety or disposal issues and has proven to be the ideal infection prevention solution for use in the close quarters of the Mercy Ships.
Mercy Ships has operated hospital ships since 1978, providing free surgical procedures, dental treatment and medical care around the world. They now use Tristel Fuse as part of an overall infection prevention strategy.
