Still on the team

This laundry is still operational. However, as the majority of the kit is used at the Hogwood Park Training Ground, a lot of time and energy was expended moving kit between the two sites for washing – so last year the Club installed a laundry at Hogwood Park.  

Two new 8kg washer extractors and two 16kg Huebsch gas heated tumble dryers were installed, and two of the original washer extractors were moved from the Madejski Stadium laundry. 

Reading FC's Selby Armstrong said: "The laundry is operating about eight hours a day, six days a week and reliability is vital to us. The washers that Armstrong provided 15 years ago are still going strong, and the company has never let us down – so it was a natural choice to go back to them.”
