Deadline extended for Metsä Sustainability Awards
01 September 2026
IN ASSOCIATION with the Cleaning & Services Support Association, Metsä Group’s ssue paper business, Metsä Tissue has extended the deadline for entry for the 2027 Sustainability Awards, hosted by Katrin.

All entries must now be submitted by 20th September 2026, to be considered for the 2027 Metsä Sustainability Awards. The decision to extend the deadline for entry came after a large number of requests from potential entrants who have been impacted by the holiday season.
The event was founded in partnership with the CSSA, in 2023 with the aim of shining a spotlight on sustainability across the cleaning and hygiene industry. In 2023, the event was held at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. The 2025 Sustainability Awards ceremony was held at The Pelligon in Canary Wharf, London, on 19 March 2025. For both events, participants joined together to celebrate the industry’s commitment to sustainability and to recognise those leading the way in best practice. In both cases, the entries exceeded expectations, and there are high hopes for the awards in 2027.
