System update
10 April 2018
London based Chamberlaine Cleaning Services has licensed the full TemplaCMS contract management system to manage its key business processes.

However, in common with many contractors of its size, Chamberlaine had reached a stage where its combination of legacy systems - running everything from pay and purchasing to quality auditing and accounts - was resulting in poor visibility of financial and operational performance at anything beneath whole company level. As Morten Elstrup, Chamberlaine’s Commercial Director explains: “The problem is the various systems didn’t talk to each other. That made it difficult to run the numbers over regions, areas or individual client contracts without downloading data from different systems into a single spreadsheet – a highly manual and time-consuming task. We needed more control.”
Why TemplaCMS?
Morten, who was familiar with TemplaCMS from a previous senior role within Churchill Services, had no doubt that it was the right solution. “With Templa’s central contract database, integrated business processes and straightforward analysis facility, it means that the day-to-day information managers need in order to run the business is all to hand. Critical budgets like payroll are easier to control and even something as simple as stores ordering is more effectively managed, because the permitted products and monthly budgets for each site are all pre-loaded onto the system.”
Implementation
Chamberlaine will be carrying out full implementation of the software in several phases over a six-month period, project managed by a member of its senior operations team. As Morten says: “Once the system is installed, we can look forward to individual client P&Ls and targeting profitable growth.”
