The expansion follows the launch of Ariel 3in1 Pods in 2013, which delivered Ariel’s most concentrated cleaning power to-date. More than half a million packs have been sold in the UK & Ireland since their introduction. 

The power capsules have been expanded with Ariel Pods Color, Fairy Pods Non-Bio and Bold Pods 2in1, with the two variants being Lavender & Camomile and White Lily & Lotus Flower.     

According to P&G Professional, managing laundry is one of the biggest challenges as no two laundry loads are the same. In fact, there are a 900+ laundry combinations, factoring load size, soil and staining and water quality. There are many types of stains and laundry loads can contain a high level of dirt. 

With Ariel Pods, the three-compartment design enables a powerful combination of ingredients – at levels that P&G Professional claims could not previously be combined in a liquid or unit dose. 

When combined with water, the film dissolves quickly, activating a high detergent concentration. This formula allows all the power from one small capsule to tackle a full load and give the best cleaning performance ever from an Ariel liquid or liquid tab.

This combination of technologies lifts and removes stains, maintains the whiteness and brightness of linens, and treats them with care.

Ariel Pods are also said to make laundry easier and help to control cost per wash as dosage concerns are eliminated: simply place the Ariel Pod(s) directly in the drum and load linen on top.
