We are present in more than 85 countries with 4 factories based in Europe, our products are manufactured in accordance with the most demanding levels of quality in the industry, which delivers reliability and safety to both our customers and our distribution partners.

As part of our corporate social responsibility initiative, Mapa Spontex Professional has launched a new green range of products for 2021. Our famous Sponrex range of bifunctional sponge scourers has been extended with the introduction of the new Sponrex 100. With 100% plant based, biodegradable cellulose sponge and abrasive top made from 100% recycled polyester fibres and walnut shells. This product is made completely free from additional colourants, further increasing its sustainable credentials. 

This same manufacturing process, of using polyester fibres and walnut shells is applied to the Mercury 100 abrasive range. There are two products available in this range, the Mercury Roll 100 which comes in 6-metre rolls for cutting to size, and Mercury Pad 100 in standard industry size.  Our new Mercury 100 products exceed even our own previous standards for scouring efficiency and tensile strength, lasting longer and cleaning easier.

Finally, MF Pro Recycled are our range of microfibre cloths, each made from 5 recycled plastic bottles. Effective against dirt and grease; available in 4 colours to avoid cross-contamination having used limited colourant to minimise their environmental impact, they can remove up to 99% of bacteria. Ultrafast drying, have excellent     absorption capacity, wipe faster than other microfibres on the market, can be used with ethanol and have very good resistance to bleach.

This range fully reflects the corporate philosophy of social responsibility. Mapa Spontex initiative focuses on continuous improvement to develop more responsible sourcing, reduced environmental impact and improved social standards, supported by concrete actions with specific objectives set for 2025.
