Disinfectant cards help de-odourise PPE and sanitary bins
01 November 2022
GENESIS BIOSCIENCES has introduced the Biosan-19, a COVID-19 disinfectant developed specifically for use in PPE disposal, waste & sanitary bins.
Available in either a sheet or a card format, Biosan-19 provides a cost-effective method of de-odourising and sanitising waste bins, including sanitary bins and PPE disposal units.
The powerful, natural germicide disinfects the bin contents and surfaces, reducing the risk of transfer of harmful pathogens to users.
As COVID-19 took hold of the world in 2020, all of us – including the general public and cleaning professionals – rushed to clean our hands, surfaces, objects and even the air around us. But despite the virus lingering on surfaces for up to three days, bins – a potential survival & breeding ground for pathogens – were largely ignored.
PPE disposal bins popped up in hospitals & healthcare settings all over the world, without the adequate products to neutralise and protect the bin and its users. Public bins, such as sanitary bins in communal washrooms, were used daily as normal.
The Biosan-19 is a physical sheet or card impregnated with our independently tested & verified disinfectant fluid to combat COVID-19. Using the product inside a bin protects users for up to four weeks. It combats harmful pathogens as soon as they enter the bin and tackles unpleasant odours at the same time.
