Baler provides multiple benefits

The intention was to maximise the amount of material they were recycling and improve their waste management system.

The Electro Mechanical Integrator had been keeping their cardboard waste in skips on site but according to Graham Hill, facilities manager at Chemigraphic, "it just took up too much space".

Upon visiting the site Compact and Bale found a solution in the Durapac CB5 baler. It now means that "with recycled cardboard taking up much less space our waste collections can be less frequent which means cost savings for us and the storage of material awaiting collection is so much tidier," Graham explained.

As fulfilment of environmental targets becomes more and more significant for businesses, Chemigraphic required a waste management supplier that would enable them to reach these targets successfully.
