Stronger recycling support
17 February 2016
UK waste management specialist Compact and Bale have strengthened their relationship with German manufacturer Ludden & Mennekes.

The improved support and offering for the waste and recycling equipment in the UK will further enable the end user to save even more money through a more efficient transportation of waste streams and allow the Compact and Bale team to offer further services for customers with L&M equipment.
Compact and Bale have been supplying waste compaction and baling equipment since 2000 and have been the only UK agent for Ludden & Mennekes since 2011, so both companies were keen to improve the offering for the leading manufacturer’s equipment in the UK.
Compact and Bale will be taking steps to help them achieve this such as stocking an increased spare parts holding to support their existing range. The engineering team at Compact & Bale will also be visiting the L&M factory in Germany to complete an in-depth advanced training programme to assist their existing understanding of the latest generation of L&M static, portable and waste transfer compactors.
Steve Burnett, chairman at Compact and Bale, said: "We are delighted to be strengthening our relationship with L&M who are a world-class manufacturer of recycling equipment. We look forward to offering all UK Ludden & Mennekes users a high level of assistance and support including training, service, emergency breakdowns and spare parts. And of course, our sales team are always willing and able to make site visits and offer advice and information on the full range of L&M compactors."
