Outdoor sweeper debut
17 August 2015
The latest addition to Hako's line-up of sweepers is to make its UK debut at the country's top event for recycling and waste management professionals.
Visitors to the Hako stand 5T80-V81 at RWM (September 15-17 at Birmingham NEC) will be able to get a close up look at the first Citymaster 1600 Citycleaner to arrive in the country and discover why it's already creating something of a stir in the municipal arena.
Sylvie Giangolini explained: "Ahead of its official launch we've already had a lot of interest in the new model from a number of local authorities keen to make the most of its flexibility and performance.
"With articulated steering, multifunctional steering and a host of other operator-friendly features, the Citymaster 1600 is just at home on city streets as it is on paths, car parks and green areas. It's low operating noise also makes it ideal for sensitive areas such as quiet, residential streets and at 3.5t it can be operated by holders of a class B driving licence."
Thanks to its reliability, ease of maintenance and excellent fuel economy the new model is likely to be as popular with fleet managers as it is with operators who benefit from a range of features designed to improve comfort and ease of use. These features include a full suspension chassis, spacious cabin, excellent visibility and an innovative, integrated control panel. Also on show will be the award-winning 600 and 1250 Citymaster models.
