Contractors convinced by software
16 October 2014
Templa has welcomed Maxim FM (Sunderland) and the MPS Group (Essex) as recent recruits to its CMS integrated management software.
With an annual turnover of £5m and £1.5m respectively, both companies focus primarily on cleaning, but also offer landscaping, property maintenance and janitorial suppliers as part of their soft FM delivery.
Whilst Maxim are planning to follow the fully integrated accounts route and migrate from Sage 50, MPS have chosen initially to run Sage 50 alongside CMS in a reduced integration option, but with a review after 12 months.
Taking advantage of Templa’s new rental option, MPS have chosen this as the most appropriate solution for their business model. Meanwhile Maxim FM have followed the outright purchase route and are keen to lay a solid systems foundation in preparation for a period of rapid expansion during which they aim to become a national provider.
Rick Stoor, Templa’s MD, said: "The key benefit of CMS is that it allows companies to grow revenue without a corresponding increase in administration expenses. So by licensing CMS on a rental basis early on, smaller contractors can enjoy profitability sooner than might otherwise be possible. With Maxim, it’s great to be partnering a company who sees the client service benefits as being just as important as the admin savings."
