New generation of gutter cleaners
31 July 2014
After five years of development by Spacevac Technologies, a new generation of high reach gutter cleaning equipment has been launched.

Operated from ground level the new system has four major features: It removes operational guesswork thanks to a close circuit TV camera on the cleaning head; it is claimed to reach higher than any other product – 4 stories (14 metres); it has impressive suction power – being able to safely remove an engineering brick from a gutter; and its carbon fibre tubes make it very lightweight and easy to assemble by one person in three minutes.
The Spacevac is powered by a Nilfisk Altro vacuum and the poles have a new locking system that ensures no reduction in diameter at the joins, thus eliminating tube blockages.
In addition to health and safety benefits and the elimination of costly scaffolds or cherry pickers, the high powered vacuum is said to clean gutters 40% faster than other products and more efficiently.
