Their large capacity means that people are less likely to have to wait for a dryer, and "particularly at this time of year we get a lot of customers coming in just to use the dryers when they can’t dry laundry outdoors”, he said.

Richard received several quotes when he was re-equipping and Armstrong came out best. The Speed Queen dryers comprise a high quality, corrosion resistant drum with embossed easy-to-clean front and side panels and a large opening stainless steel door which can open to 180 degrees for easy loading and unloading.

The dryers are available with capacities from 11-24.5kg. Two twin door dryers offer a total of 30-42kg capacities.
