Disposables UK scooped a major win at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, when its Bay West range was chosen as a product of choice for venues within the Olympic Park.

Some 16,000 Bay West dispensers were installed, and 7,500 cases of product, including toilet tissue, soap and hand towels, were delivered; 220,000 toilet rolls were used in conjunction with Bay West dispensers and 10,000 cartridges of soap were provided. Products were installed by a dedicated fitting team from August 2011 to June 2012.

The company says a key factor in its selection was its 'impeccable green credentials' - EU recognised certification, Ecolabel accreditation, reduction in wastage and high capacity.

'We are immensely proud to have had this "once in a lifetime'' opportunity,' says Emma Wood, marketing manager. 'It is a massive accolade for the Bay West brand and we are thrilled to be able to say that we were an Olympic supplier.'
