This tool estimates the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, expressed in carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2 e), resulting from products purchased, buying habits and delivery impacts.

What is a Carbon Calculator?
A carbon calculator is a tool that helps users understand the impact of their actions on climate change by estimating the total amount of GHGs emitted directly or indirectly by their activities. By providing a clear picture of one's carbon footprint, these calculators enable users to make informed decisions to mitigate their environmental impact.

The Carbon Calculator evaluates the cycle of a product, from manufacturing to delivery to distributor/end user. The tool takes into account:

Product footprint: This includes not only the production, filling, and packaging of the product but also the carbon emissions generated by supporting services within the company’s operations.

Delivery footprint: The calculator estimates the emissions from each delivery by considering the products ordered, the distance from Evans Vanodine's warehouse in Preston to the delivery location, and the size of the order.

The results from the calculators are sent directly to our customer’s chosen email address. By using the calculators, our distributord/customers receive a detailed estimate of their total order carbon footprint. This enables the user to understand the environmental impact of their actions, identify areas where they can reduce emissions and make informed decisions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
