Data analyst brings passion for sustainability

03 March 2020

Sitemark, the independent benchmarking service for the facilities management industry, has announced the appointment of Ben Sladden as data analyst.

Ben’s role will be to obtain, interpret and analyse large volumes of client data in order to understand their waste processes. He will then deliver effective and concise reports that identify innovative solutions to reduce costs, reduce waste and increase recycling, helping to inform Sitemark clients about their future waste management and recycling strategies.

Sladden becomes Sitemark’s second data analyst and joins the team following previous roles in data analysis. He has a master’s in environmental dynamics and climate change, and an undergraduate degree in geography.

On his appointment, Ben commented: “I’m delighted to join Sitemark and put my knowledge, enthusiasm and experience in the sector to practice. I am passionate about sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices and look forward to advising Sitemark clients on achieving best practice in these areas.”

Mike Boxall, managing director at Sitemark, said of Ben: “We are excited to support him in bringing data to life to showcase our findings to our clients, especially at a time when sustainability is such a key concern within facilities management.”
