From zero to hero
03 November 2014
Best-practice benchmarking specialist i-Clean has expanded its Efficiency Reviews to include waste management to meet the broader needs of its customer base.
The service offers best-practice expertise and support to help facilities managers move their organisation up the waste hierarchy, from zero tolerance to landfill through to making waste an asset of their business.
According to consultant Paul Taylor who will head-up the department, "waste is too often an overlooked and undervalued resource. When in fact, a good sustainable waste management plan can make significant savings and greatly enhance green-credentials."
The Waste Management System will follow the same format as i-Clean Reviews: Review, Implementation and Certification, and is available as part of a cleaning review, or discrete waste project.
MD Mike Boxall added: "Waste is a natural fit to our cleaning reviews. We already follow waste through an organisation to the back-door. It makes perfect sense to take this several steps further ensuring organisations are meeting their legal obligations and minimising, reusing, recycling and reselling as much of their waste as possible."
To mark the launch, i-Clean are offering free Initial Assessments to all sectors.
