Fleet sustainability guide
14 December 2015
Fleet managers will find food for thought in The FuelCard People's latest online flip-book from The Green Journey.
The latest in the free guidance series offers help for fleets as they face growing pressure on sustainability.
Group marketing manager Steve Clarke said: “We have been working with all types and sizes of fleets for many years. Now, we are helping fleet managers to enjoy the benefits of our own sustainability experience in achieving industry-leading certifications.”
The new edition of The Green Journey’s Sustainability Updates begins with a cautionary note for fleets running diesel cars and vans: DEFRA has published draft plans that suggest banning such vehicles from a number of major cities.
The flip-book also highlights the newest Cool Earth rainforest project, urging fleet managers to join in helping with the battle against climate change. As always, the latest issue offers useful guidance on strategic sustainability goals, both on setting targets and implementing best practice. Further practical steps are offered to cover key topics from tracking exhaust emissions to reducing fuel consumption.
