Kennels grateful for dryer

Girbau UK has supplied Birkenhead Council Kennels with an Econ-o-dry tumble dryer.

Until the Girbau dryer arrived the kennels didn't have the facility to wash and dry blankets and bedding.Vikki Ogilvie, Friends of Birkenhead Council Kennels (FOBCK), said:"We had to throw away any soiled bedding before, but now we can quickly wash and dry blankets and beds, saving money and keeping the dogs warm and comfortable." The 18lb capacity Econ-o-dry commercial dryer features electric or gas heating options, controls for fabric choice and drying time, an oversize door and a large capacity drum.

FOBCK is looking to raise a money to enable the kennels to move to a larger site with improved facilities and enough space for dogs to go outside and exercise every day.
