"Viral, bacterial and fungal break outs are typically common in changing and training areas, so thorough cleaning is vital," says Mariners' trainer, Rick Griffin."We needed to find something deadly to germs, but Ichi-friendly." Seattle Mariners are now using UK-developed Byotrol hand and surface sanitisers in their training room, where the forty players train as well as receiving treatment and long-term care performances. Byotrol uses a combination of non-toxic compounds that kill microbes on impact, and forms a residual layer on surfaces and skin.
