Available in 600mm and 1200mm widths and with a depth of 230mm, the cabinets are designed to provide a coordinated behind-the-mirror solution without the need to construct the cabinet from scratch.

Multiple cabinets can be installed side by side, making the system suitable for longer runs above banks of basins. Where the available space does not correspond exactly with the cabinet dimensions, mirrored filler cabinets can be used to close gaps and create a more continuous appearance.

Installation is also designed around a straightforward process. Once the wall bracket is fixed, the cabinet can be hung in place and the selected dispensers positioned within it.

The internal configuration provides flexibility over dispenser positioning, allowing the system to be adapted to the requirements of the washroom.

Servicing needs to be considered

While appearance and installation are important, servicing should not be overlooked.

A behind-the-mirror system needs to provide convenient access to consumables and equipment for cleaning and facilities teams. If replenishment is difficult, even a well-designed installation can become inefficient to operate.

What about multiple basins?

For larger washrooms, the ability to create a continuous dispensing installation can be an important consideration.

Modulo Slimline allows multiple cabinets to be mounted together, providing a practical solution for washrooms with several basins arranged in a row.

Ultimately, there is no universal answer when it comes to selecting a behind-the-mirror system.

Classic Behind the Mirror is likely to be the better fit where bespoke cabinetry is central to the project and the design team requires flexibility over cabinet dimensions, construction and layout.

Modulo Slimline is more suited to projects where a ready-made cabinet and dispensing system are required as an integrated solution, particularly where multiple cabinets are needed to serve a longer run of basins.

The choice should also take account of the people who will be responsible for maintaining the washroom. Considering how dispensers will be replenished, how easily equipment can be accessed and where consumables will be stored can help prevent servicing issues further down the line.

Looking beyond aesthetics

Concealed dispensing can undoubtedly contribute to a more streamlined washroom design, but aesthetics should not be the only consideration.

The most effective solution is one that combines the desired appearance with practical installation, reliable dispensing and straightforward maintenance.
