Monthind celebrates 50 years in business

The company was founded by Christine Beedle MBE, and her hard work and dedication meant she was able to sell the company to Tony Clarke in 2000, boasting a very healthy turnover of £3.5million. 

Since then, Monthind has continued to grow, and as it moves into its 50th year the company now operates from four locations across the region, delivering professional cleaning solutions throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire - and surrounding home counties.

Throughout the years, the company has adjusted to the changing requirements of the cleaning industry by adopting innovative solutions and sustainable methods that not only enhance its services but also safeguard the environment. The ongoing expansion has positioned Monthind as a leader in the commercial cleaning sector in the East of England, serving a wide array of clients including office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and more.

Central to the business is its devoted team of cleaning operatives who reflect the company's core values. Their unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has played a crucial role in fostering relationships with clients and has been fundamental to Monthind's success. 

As the anniversary year progresses, the staff and management at Monthind continue to strive for excellence in everything they do, and as the business goes from strength to strength history is created, ready to be celebrated at the next big anniversary.

The Monthind team is recognised to be a formidable fundraiser, and instead of putting this on the backburner during its anniversary year, the company aims to raise at least £5000 for its corporate chosen charity, Little Havens Hospice. Taking on the Three Peaks in July, along with several other exciting events that are in the top-secret planning stages at the moment.
