Free how-to guides for cleaners
28 January 2022
CLEANING PRODUCTS specialist Prochem Europe has expanded its free online Technical Help Guides to include advice on prespray chemicals, infection control and removing adhesive tape residue.

Cleaners removing yellow and black social distancing tape from carpets and hard flooring are left with a tacky residue to contend with, says the company, adding that even a temporary tape removal and if required, re-application, can help protect the carpet from long-term damage.
“Nearly seventy per cent of all calls into the Prochem technical helpline are from large cleaning and FM companies struggling with this issue,” says sales and training manager Phil Jones. “Our sales team have been out helping by demonstrating the removal system.”
Prochem tested removal techniques with a selection of tapes on all types of flooring including Milliken and Interface carpet tiles before uploading its latest guide covering which solutions to use along with how.
