Pigeons take flight

NBC has provided pigeon and bird control for the hangers since 2013. NBC hawks and falcons are raised and trained from chicks to become specialised bird deterrents. Most commonly used for gull and pigeon problems, the birds of prey act as a natural deterrent when they are flown in afflicted areas indoors or outdoors.

The type of bird of prey and the programme implemented will depend on the nature of the bird problem. This natural and preventative approach stops the problem birds occupying sensitive areas and creating health and safety issues for staff and customers.
