bpi.recycled products announces PRE 2014 plans
14 May 2014
With PRE 2014 rapidly approaching, bpi.recycled products - Europe’s largest polythene waste recycler and a leading manufacturer of refuse and recycling sacks - has revealed its plans for the leading plastics recycling exhibition.

At the show, which runs from the 18-19 June 2014 at the Telford International Centre, the business will use its stand (Stand H028) to promote recent investments into its recycling infrastructure, to highlight its unrivalled product offer and to reaffirm its ability to help the UK dispose of its polythene waste in a greener, more sustainable way.
In particular, over the course of the past year bpi.recycled products has continued to make £multi-million investments back into its operations as part of a sustained and on-going investment programme. This programme plays a major role in ensuring the business continues to employ the latest recycling technology and is enabling bpi.recycled products to recycle material from a broader spectrum of waste streams than ever before.
Specific investments recently unveiled include a new recycling line at the business’ Heanor site which significantly increases bpi.recycled products’ ability to reprocess more highly contaminated waste, such as pallet stretchwrap from distribution centres.
Currently much of this material is exported to the Far East for recycling so this new line, which employs ground breaking, state-of-the-art technology capable of dealing with higher levels of contamination, represents a major investment in the UK’s recycling infrastructure.
Rachael Barton, marketing communications manager at BPI, concludes: "As a business, bpi.recycled products remains committed to meeting and frequently pre-empting the needs of the UK’s waste management sector, and as a result re-investment and new product development are both central to our approach.
"PRE offers us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how this commitment manifests itself in practice and how it continues to deliver tangible benefits for the customers we serve.”
