BPI exhibiting at RWM exhibition
04 August 2014
BPI subsidiary bpi.recycled products (BPI RP), which recycles up to 70,000 tonnes of waste polythene every year, will be exhibiting at the RWM (Recycling & Waste Management) exhibition on stand 4J60.

BPI RP is the largest recycler of used polythene film in Europe, recycling post-use polythene material from horticultural, commercial, retail, industrial and agricultural markets.
At the event, which takes place from 16-18 September 2014 at the NEC, Birmingham, BPI RP will be showcasing samples of its award-winning 100% recycled refuse sack, the Green Sack. The Green Sack is made using waste farm polythene, such as used bale wrap and horticultural film, providing superior levels of performance due to its inherent strength.
The company’s range of 100% recycled Plaswood outdoor furniture and landscaping solutions, including decking and planters, will also be on display. Visitors to the stand will have the chance to enter a competition daily to win a Plaswood planter.
Sian Miles, environmental & purchasing director, said: "The RWM Exhibition is the ideal platform for BPI RP to reaffirm its ability to help UK organisations dispose of waste polythene in an ethical and greener way. This sustainable process prevents it from being shipped to countries in the Pacific Rim for recycling, which adds additional cost in financial terms as well as a company’s carbon footprint.”
