Green & clean tourism
09 December 2013
Kimberly-Clark Professional has partnered with the Green Tourism Business Scheme to promote the sustainable procurement of hygiene products by companies in the tourism industry.

Following an assessment of Kimberly-Clark Professional's UK operation, Green Tourism has agreed to endorse a range of hygiene products that provide sustainability benefits, including Kleenex hand towels and luxury foam cleansers, Scott hand towels and toilet tissue, Wypall wipers and microfibre cloths, and Andrex toilet tissue. The move means Kimberly-Clark Professional now holds the coveted Green Tourism ‘Preferred Supplier’ status.
Green Tourism is the UK’s national sustainable tourism certification scheme, whose members have met rigorous criteria covering a range of areas such as energy and water consumption, social projects and diversity.
