Entries are open for the 2020 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards

The 2020 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards opens for entries on 20th May, with a call to the cleaning and facilities industries for entries that demonstrate the very best in raising standards of cleaning excellence.
Kimberly-Clark Professional has also announced a new Diversity category, bringing the total number of awards up to 17 to be presented in a prestigious ceremony on 4th March 2020, at the Park Lane Hilton, London.
Founded in 1991, the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards have become one of the industry’s most esteemed events. Providing the opportunity for both contract cleaners and in-house cleaning teams to showcase and be recognised for innovation and to set the benchmark for high standards of service.
New categories
The new Diversity Category has been announced in recognition of a changing society where inclusion of all is encouraged, recognising individual differences as both important and equal. This is the latest of three new categories announced including Best Innovation and Best Small Business.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards once again, and the exciting new categories are added to reflect both a changing industry and society,” said Stephen Jones, general manager UK & Ireland, Kimberly-Clark Professional. “We welcome entries from both small and large companies who have achievements they want to shout about, or a success story to tell. Our industry is fast moving and exciting and we are looking forward to hearing about the latest achievements of excellence.”
The remaining categories include: Healthcare establishment (fewer than and more than 250 beds), Office areas (below and above 250,000 sq. ft), Education Establishment (large and small), Shopping Mall, Manufacturing Facilities, Hospitality Award, Environmental Awareness Award, Industry Training Award, Site Supervisor of the Year and Cleaning Operative of the Year.
How to enter

The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) will independently oversee the judging process which will begin in November with the paper judging stage. Site visits will take place in November and December, again managed by BICSc to ensure uniformity and fairness.

Launched at the Cleaning Show 2019, the 2020 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards has announced six new sponsors. New gold sponsor CHSA is joined by new silver sponsors Kärcher, and Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene supplies.
New bronze sponsors include Truvox International, supplier of commercial and industrial floorcare, and InnuScience, the biotechnology cleaning products company, alongside returning bronze sponsor the British Cleaning Council (BCC). Kimberly-Clark Professional also recognises the support of the CSSA which is helping to promote the awards across the industry.
