COBAmat PVC floor matting, from COBA Europe, has been selected by vegetable packing business, Frederick Hiam, and installed at its Brandon site, near Ipswich.

Over 40m of COBAmat Inter has been fitted to an opengridded platform floor in a busy area where parsnips are washed and bagged. The area is prone to water spillage and loose food debris. Without the interwoven matting, the metal grid floor surface would be uncomfortable for employees whose jobs require prolonged standing, despite specialist safety shoes.

The PVC woven design features open holes allowing liquid and debris to escape 'through' the matting.

Reversible and easy to clean, the product conforms to Slip Resistance Test DIN51097 Category B. PVC does not support the growth of bacteria.
