Steve Clarke, general manager
of The Fuelcard People.
'Patrick McLoughlin might want to help,' said Clarke, 'but he simply can not place road transport at the very top of his agenda.

The former Chief Whip will also be handling the problems of the £32 billion high-speed London-Birmingham rail link.
'Finally,' says Clarke, 'that leaves the road transport sector, including contract cleaners alongside all the other van and truck users.
