Vectair Systems has launched a new heavy-duty, antimicrobial liner made from 100% recycled white polythene that fits all sanitary units up to 23 litres.

Vectair Systems has launched a new heavy-duty, antimicrobial liner made from 100% recycled white polythene that fits all sanitary units up to 23 litres.

The new Femcare antimicrobial liners, which can be seen at ISSA/Interclean in Amsterdam, are the result of an exclusive partnership with Addmaster, a leading supplier of additives, and benefit from Biomaster, an antimicrobial additive added during manufacturing that uses silver ion technology. This actively reduces the growth of bacteria both inside and outside a normal bin liner by up to 99.99% for its lifespan making it extremely safe to handle.

"We believe our use of Biomaster powder in a sanitary bin liner is an industry first, so this is a very exciting addition to our product range," says Paul Wonnacott, Vectair Founder and MD. "Silver has been used as an antimicrobial for centuries. It has low toxicity and works round-the-clock to reduce the growth of microbes and bacteria that cause odours." Stand 11.205
