With carpet beetles and other textile pests presenting a growing problem, The WoolSafe Organisation says professional carpet technicians would be well advised to take a place on its brand new course.

The Control and Treatment of Textile Insect Pests will give all professional carpet technicians the necessary expertise to deal with destructive bugs and is fully compliant with COPR (Control of Pesticide Regulations).

Trainees who are Clean Trust (IICRC) members will also receive one Continuing Education Credit (CEC).

"Members can use their new knowledge to rid homes and commercial properties of these damaging pests as well as improve customer service and maximise potential revenue," says Steve Bakker, marketing manager, WoolSafe.

The course is tutored by Julie Roberts of Chemspec Europe and the next date is 16th April 2012.
