Strong start for accreditations
19 June 2015
Since their inception in early 2015, the CleanSeal and EnviroSeal accreditation programmes have received a strong and positive reaction from the carpet care sector, as The WoolSafe Organisation continues to team up with leading brands to increase confidence and credibility in those products tested and approved.
CleanSeal certification provides carpet cleaning product manufacturers with the opportunity to gain third party recognition for the quality of their products. To have achieved this mark of excellence products must have demonstrated both their safety and cleaning efficacy, and if also boasting a low environmental impact, they become eligible to be passed on to the EnviroSeal testing stage.
EnviroSeal was introduced as a complimentary accreditation programme to CleanSeal. The WoolSafe Organisation is working with the respected Enco Global Testing Services (EGTS) to assess the eco credentials of products that have passed CleanSeal testing and been certified as high quality cleaners.
A number of leading manufacturers are seeing an immediate benefit from the addition of CleanSeal accreditation, with hundreds of WoolSafe Approved Service Providers introduced to their cleaning products as a direct result. Similarly, EnviroSeal has caught the imagination of chemical manufacturers looking to promote a green message, one that is high on the current global agenda.
