WoolSafe announces third educational conference

09 September 2014

The WoolSafe Organisation is preparing to host its third WoolSafe Educational Conference, which will deliver a mixture of networking, insightful presentations and workshops tutored by industry experts.

The conference takes place in the historic heart of the British carpet industry, at the Museum of Carpet in Kidderminster, on 16th and 17th October. With specialist training courses before and guided tours of Brintons Carpets and the Museum of Carpet afterwards, there is the potential for a stimulating two days of learning for professionals from all sectors of the industry.

Stakeholders to be represented at this year’s event include cleaning product manufacturers, carpet and rug cleaners, carpet manufacturers and suppliers, carpet inspectors and insurance claim handlers; not to mention top industry tutors, chemists, textile scientists, environmental impact evaluators and marketing gurus.

"After the great success of our previous educational conferences, we are looking forward to making the third one even bigger and better at a fantastic setting and with a great range of learning opportunities,” explains Dr Agnes Zsednai, managing director, The WoolSafe Organisation. "There is no other body organising an event that brings together all the different stakeholders within the carpet industry under one roof."

The WoolSafe Educational Conference is open to WoolSafe members and licensees, industry partners, friends and associates. Further information on the event schedule can be obtained from The WoolSafe Organisation or from www.woolsafeacademy.org
