MAKITA WILL be showcasing its range of cordless cleaning solutions at the Manchester Cleaning Show at stand F5.

Makita will be showcasing its range of cordless cleaning solutions at the Manchester Cleaning Show on 13th and 14th March. Its expert team will be on hand on stand F5 to demonstrate how its range of battery powered products provide a genuine cordless alternative for commercial carpet and hard-floor vacuuming.
A key highlight on the stand is the VC008GZ02 40V(Max) XGT Brushless Backpack Vacuum Cleaner. This compact, ergonomic and lightweight product (only 3.4kg without batteries) has a built-in HEPA Filter that is used to capture very fine particles effectively.
It delivers a suction power of up to 195W when used on the highest setting, and a run time of up to 110 minutes on the lowest setting when using 5.0Ah batteries. The large 1.5 litre dust bag / 2.0 litre filter bag capacity further allows longer operation without the need to stop and empty the bag.
The machine features a telescopic pipe with a locking mechanism for a secure connection to the flexible pipe section, as well as a T-nozzle with a hard flooring and carpet mode selector. The VC008G also has a mechanism to prevent the dust bag compartment closing when the bag is not installed correctly.
Thanks to the design of the machine, this vacuum cleaner produces consistently low noise levels (sound pressure of 72 dB(A)), to minimise disturbance when working in populated spaces. Its harness design means the backpack is comfortable to wear and includes a padded mesh material on the shoulders, back and waist areas to reduce heat build-up.
Visitors to the show will also be able to review Makita’s VC005GLZ 40V(Max) XGT Brushless Dry L-Class Dust Extractor – Tub Vacuum. With a generous 8L tank capacity, this machine is powered by one XGT 40V(Max) battery, however two batteries can be fitted that operate in series to enable longer runtimes when one battery switches to the second battery when the first is depleted. This model delivers a maximum airflow of 2.8 m³/min and a maximum sealed suction of 23kPa without the need for frequent recharging.
This IPX4 rated tub vacuum is highly durable, with large wheels making it easy to manoeuvre around site – with the rear two wheels specifically designed with a larger diameter to provide improved stability.
The company has a wide range of solutions for the professional cleaning sector to suit user preference and a wide range of tasks. Visit Makita at stand F5 to try out some of its vacuums and range of cleaning tools. Or, to find out more about Makita, visit www.makitauk.com
