Partnership set to 'revolutionise' window cleaning across London
28 November 2023
PRINCIPLE HAS partnered with Skyline Robotics and is the exclusive provider of Ozmo; an award-winning, autonomous window cleaning robot, in the UK.
The partnership will enable Principle to provide clients with a full spectrum of facade cleaning and health services, with all of the company's pillars of focus remaining at the forefront.
A core achievement of the initiative will be the delivery of ESG monitoring for its clients’ buildings. The robots are also testament to the value Principle places on its people and confirm what the organisation has stated for many years; humans and robots can work together. This approach will accelerate that since Ozmo – Skyline Robotics’ flagship robot – is operated by humans; and will result in a smarter, faster (up to three times more so), safer and more economical alternative to human resource alone.
Ozmo’s technology is of the utmost sophistication and combines artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision with advanced robotics and sensors, earning Skyline Robotics a RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award earlier this year. Additionally, the company was awarded the PropTech Breakthrough Award for Construction Robotics Solution of the Year and has received a place on the 2023 BuiltWorlds Robotics 50 List.
“Having demonstrated Ozmo’s value in New York City, we’re excited to expand operations and partner with Principle to bring our robots to London.” said Michael Brown, CEO, Skyline Robotics. “London has more BMUs than the rest of Europe combined, making it a key global geographic location to showcase the impact automation can have to help achieve business growth.”
Tom Lloyd, CEO, Principle Cleaning Services commented: “Principle is committed to investing in a future where humans and robots work collaboratively together. Through this partnership with Skyline Robotics, we’re securing all future capabilities to service customers for decades to come.
Our clients always expect us to deliver new value and innovations to them as leading asset managers in our market. Our pillars are people, sustainability and innovation and with Ozmo, we feel we’re not just meeting but exceeding expectations.”
