29 March 2018
Drones are popular for recreational use and their potential is increasingly being explored in the workplace. This new drone from Latvia-based drone specialist, Aerones, tackles wind turbine cleaning and de-icing.
The drone is said to be able to clean ten wind turbines a day and has unlimited run time as it is powered by electricity through an attached cable.
The drone is also able to transport cleaning and anti-icing fluids.
