CSSA launches initiative to attract new members
06 January 2016
The CSSA is starting 2016 with a recruitment drive to attract new members, and is offering ‘founding member’ status for those who join before the official launch on 1st February.
CSSA director John Findlater said: "Becoming a re-launched CSSA ‘Founding Member’ will resonate in the industry sector and let everyone know; suppliers and clients, that we’re back as an independent, industry specific organisation.”
The CSSA is the UK’s oldest trade association for the contract cleaning and support services sector, and is being re-launched after a two-year hiatus.
Former members and directors met in London just before Christmas and decided to make the CSSA full operational again, saying that the contract cleaning sector needed specialised representation.
There are plans for big member benefits, together with a code of practice, as well as plans to lobby government on industry specific issues like the In/Out European Referendum and the Apprenticeship Levy.
Organisers say there will be a real culture change in the running of the organisation, and are encouraging SME’s and start-ups to get involved in the new structure right from the start.
The CSSA is officially launching on 1st February 2016 and any cleaning contractor interested in joining can contact John Findlater. Email: [email protected]
