ISSA to hold CIMS workshop
15 October 2015
The ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, is to hold its next 'Industry Certification Expert' (I.C.E.) training workshop on 4th November 2015 at the Royal York Hotel in York.

Run by ISSA’s partner BICS Business Services (BBS), these workshops are an integral part of ISSA’s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS).
After completing a one-day workshop and passing a subsequent exam, candidates will qualify as I.C.E. certified professionals. They will then be fully equipped to provide training and consulting services to help their customers or own organisations comply with CIMS and achieve certification to the Standard.
"People are the life blood of any business and I believe that through education, training and empowerment of those people, our industry can come together to achieve great results, said Keith Baker, director of industry outreach EMEA, at ISSA.
He added: "Training to become an Industry Certification Expert equips attendees with the critical knowledge and skills needed to help organisations meet demands from the highest management levels and achieve CIMS certification."
CIMS is said to be the first consensus-based management standard that provides a clear way for contract cleaning companies to differentiate themselves from competitors through demonstrating a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, continual operational improvement, and best use of resources.
