Albany Hygiene Facilities and Queen Mary,University of London, will work together in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to help improve infection control management in schools.

(KTP) to help improve infection
control management in schools.
The Department of Health has agreed to fund 25% for the recruitment of a microbiologist who will review how infection control can be improved in schools through the KTP.
The KTP will be sponsored by the Department of Health,The Technology Strategy Board and The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.The purpose of the KTP is to provide the resources necessary to carry out in-depth research into school hygiene and this will be done through Albany Hygiene Facilities' dedicated school hygiene programme,Albany Healthy Schools.
