Powered by lithium ion batteries
24 August 2015
Reintec has added three new micro-sized floor cleaning machines – powered by lithium ion batteries – into its product range, with more products to follow later this year.

Cleaning machines powered by lithium ion batteries are said to be lighter and more mobile. Reintec says that they are also easier to charge and care for than machines powered by traditional lead acid or gel batteries and can be charged repeatedly during use and easily topped up – like modern mobile phones. This reduces the downtime needed for charging, while increasing flexibility and convenience.
The new range comprises three models: BB1, XSR and SDC300L. They are manufactured by Reintec’s partner FiMap and are available exclusively through Reintec in the UK. The batteries deliver long run times, with the XSR and SDC300L running for up to an hour on a full charge, and the BB1 running for up to 45 minutes.
Each machine features a compact, ergonomic design and lightweight frame, making it easier and more comfortable to clean in hard-to-reach places, such as under desks and tables. They also allow the operator to clean in all directions.
