Expertise in microbiological cleaning has been instrumental for Hygiene Group, a specialist food industry cleaning company, in securing a contract with supplier of meat alternatives Quorn Foods in Methwold, Norfolk.

Scott Fowler of Hygiene says: "The nature of Quorn’s production equipment poses several challenges in terms of a thorough microbiological clean, and we were able to demonstrate vast experience in overhead and confined space cleaning. Our teams are all highly trained and able to deploy a specially designed cleaning regime at Quorn which exceeds all food hygiene standards and guarantees that listeria and other bacteria are kept firmly at bay."
Andrew Ingram, quality manager at Quorn, added: "Hygiene’s track record in tackling hard-to-reach areas, while still maintaining hygiene and cleanliness to food-industry standards, was exactly what we were looking for."
Hygiene’s contract with Quorn includes a daily food production clean performed by several teams working around the clock, with an additional team carrying out domestic and amenities cleaning, including offices and toilets.
