Stadium cladding clean-up
07 February 2014
Cleaning contractor Ultra Cleaning Service has hired a JLG 860SJ boom lift and a Skyjack SJ8841 scissor lift from AFI to clean cladding at the Reebok Stadium.

Ultra Cleaning Service MD Julian Chadwick said: "Inside the ground we needed a powered access machine that would fit through the narrow entrance and give us enough outreach so that we could clean the cladding at the corners of the stands whilst keeping the machine off the pitch. The outreach of the stick boom was ideal and it allowed us to easily clean the cladding with water-fed brushes.
He added: "Our work outside the stadium involved jet washing the cladding. The scissor lift, with its extendable deck, enabled us to work from the top to the bottom, cleaning two panels of cladding at a time, without having to move the machine along, saving us a great deal of time."
