Museum of London contract for all
housekeeping and portering
services, taking over from MITIE.
'CK Group succeeded in gaining the contract through the company's demonstrably clear understanding of the requirements of the museum, not only to improve and enhance the visitor experience and ensure staff safety, but also, through preventive conservation, to help prevent damage to museum collections,' says Graham Stratfold, head of visitor services.
With all staff being permanent, the company enjoys a very low turnover of only 2 per cent.
Training features heavily in the CK Group ethos and staff are enhanced CRB checked and possess good communication skills in public facing roles.
Use of the latest technology and microfibre cleaning with water only, thereby reducing chemical usage, was also a key factor in CK Group winning the contract.
