Economical endoscope cleaning

Dr Weigert (UK) has launched a new range of decontamination products for the manual and automated cleaning of flexible endoscopes.

Neodisher endo clean has been formulated to be effective at low temperatures, and this, together with the small application dosage required, ensures good cost in use. The low foam agent is based on a formula of alkalis, enzymes and surfactants which reliably remove organic residues and prevent their redeposition.

Neodisher endo DIS active is a granulate for the manual disinfection of flexible endoscopes and accessories in emersion and ultrasonic baths. It is effective against bacteria, yeasts, enveloped viruses (including HBV, HIV and HCV), and spores (including Clostridium difficile). It is based on peracetic acid to eliminate incompatibilities with other active substances.
