Global sales look to strengthen

Vikan has appointed Linda Julich as group sales director with a place on its management board.

Formerly Vikan UK's MD, Julich's elevation to the newly created position follows the strengthening of the sales management function at the end of 2011 says the company.

During her six years at the helm of Vikan UK, Julich was instrumental in growing the UK business and market share and played a key role in positioning Vikan as a market leader in hygiene-critical cleaning systems and tools. Her wealth of experience and record for generating excellent results with major international key accounts will strengthen Vikan's global sales activities.

A broader international perspective has also been added through Linda's completion of the TGM executive programme at Insead in France and Singapore.
