Manual handling of dirty mops,
presenting a significant risk of
cross contamination in hospital
cleaning, is a thing of the past
with the pocket mop release
system from Vikan ErgoClean.
Researched and developed by Vikan's engineers, the patented system which attaches to the Vikan ErgoClean trolley, eliminates manual handling of dirty mops, substantially reducing the transfer of pathogens and the risk of cross infection.
The system is very simple.
First the highly effective Vikan ultra microfibre mopheads clean floors to a microscopic level, removing over 99% of dirt and bacteria commonly associated with hospital acquired infections.
Then, by inserting the mop plate into the mop release, the potentially hazardous soiled mop releases directly into the collecting bucket ready for laundering with no need for manual handling.
