Delivering a spray of temporarily
ionised water each time the
trigger is pressed, the ionator EXP
from Activeion is said to kill
99.9% of the germs
on surfaces, lifts
grease and soil and
uses only tap water.
Slightly larger than a conventional trigger-spray bottle, the ionator EXP is filled with tap water, with no added chemicals. When the trigger is pressed, a 12V diaphragm pump starts a continuous flow of water through a water cell that applies a small electrical charge, ionising the water, then through an ionexchange membrane. The ionised water breaks down dirt from most surfaces including glass, stainless steel, paint, lacquered or painted wood, carpet, natural stone, marble and clothing.
HACCP International has endorsed Activeion and the ionator EXP as a tool recommended for use in food facilities as part of a food hygiene programme.
The ionator EXP was displayed at The Cleaning Show and has won a total of twelve awards in the UK and other countries in the EU.
