The introduction of recycled packaging technology enhances the green credentials for Autolym.
Retran is a PET based plastic that is made from postconsumer rubbish. This includes fizzy water bottles, salad containers and other PET plastic which is collected, cleaned and reprocessed to produce this material. The composition of recycled content is a minimum of 70 percent and in some cases it is almost 100 percent. The breakthrough in the development of this material has been to achieve total transparency and retain the strength required for the traditional Jetran packaging.
Bell Packaging offers prototypes and dummy packaging for new designs from its factory in Luton.
